Criminal Justice Innovation Competitions

JusticeMakers hosts competitions that seek out and fund grassroots initiatives to promote criminal justice and rule of law. These competitions provide defenders, human rights officers, and police officials, among others, the opportunity to detail strategies for the local implementation of legal rights, compete for seed funding from IBJ and other grant-makers, and connect with other JusticeMakers with similar thematic or geographic focus.

2010 Asia JusticeMakers Competition

International Bridges to Justice, in tandem with the Lien Center for Social Innovation, is proud to present the 2010 Asia JusticeMakers Competition. This event, building on a similar global initiative in 2008, will award $5,000 in seed funding to the eight applicants whose projects display the most innovation, efficacy and sustainability. The 2010 JusticeMakers Fellows will also receive additional training at the Singapore Criminal Justice Training Center, as well as being paired with documentary photojournalists to record their efforts.
