The JusticeMakers Partnership Program

Rommel Abitria is trying to mitigate problems found in Filipino prisons by training inmates to become paralegals. He’s a JusticeMaker. He’s teamed with IBJ to become part of a global legal rights movement, and is working with us to direct more resources and exposure to the Humanitarian Legal Assistance Foundation in Manila.

Sound interesting? You don’t have to win the JusticeMakers competition to start collaborating with IBJ. Get started by helping us find the next class of JusticeMakers Fellows, and we’ll help your organization get the recognition it deserves.

Why?

It’s a Global Movement

Tap into the global JusticeMakers network, which has a membership of over 2,500 registered users spanning 110 countries. The group of 56 partners is just as diverse, bridging four continents and an array of advocacy issues.

Visibility

IBJ’s campaign of legal reform has materialized into multiple international human rights awards – most recently the Gleitsman International Activist Award from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Public Leadership. The noteworthy accomplishments of the 2008 JusticeMakers Fellows cover a range of innovative legal reform programs that have ushered in substantial secondary funding and resources.

Partnering is Easy

IBJ staff will customize and deliver all the necessary promotional tools and provide personalized, ongoing support throughout the competition. As a partner you can promote the JusticeMakers competition by carrying out initiatives that are already consistent with your mission. To learn more, click here.
